The Opportunity

We think the waterfront location on the shores of Burrinjuck Waters makes our Park a blinding spot for your next adventure. Just a short drive from major towns like Yass & Canberra, the park is easily accessible while still providing peaceful retreat vibes. The stunning lake offers a variety of activities right at your doorstep, from fishing & swimming to hiking scenic trails.

We are looking for an experienced dynamic duo or power couple to take on this dual role with onsite accommodation available at a low rental rate!Due to the abundance of wildlife, dogs & cats are not permitted.

1x Full-time Grounds & Maintenance Worker (Medium Rigid Licence Required)

1x Casual All Rounder (Duties include Guest Services, Housekeeping & Kiosk)

As our Grounds & Maintenance Worker, you may find yourself:

• Performing general grounds maintenance & minor repairs of site facilities including but not limited to; painting & deck oiling, sewer repairs & external water pipes repairs.
• Performing Water Treatment Plant operations & daily checks.
• Performing cleaning & maintenance of guest amenities.
• Maintain gardens & trees to ensure a safe environment for visitors and employees.
• Operating & maintaining park vehicles; including garbage truck/side lifter as well as small plant & hand-operated equipment, such as ride on mower, brush cutter, hedge trimmer and other general lawn & gardening tools.
• Assisting & directing visitors within the park.
• Following work health &safety procedures.

As our All Rounder, you may find yourself:

• Performing Housekeeping duties such as linen changes, cleaning of cabins, replenish stock.
• Performing Kiosk duties such as order taking, food preparation, opening/closing & general cleaning.
• Performing Guest Services duties such as guest reservations, cancellations, arrivals & departures, opening/closing of office & assisting with day-to-day financial transactions.
• Assisting & directing visitors within the park & provide excellent, high-level customer service.
• Performing stocktake & compiling of records of items
• Following work health &safety procedures.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will have:

• Previous experience in similar roles.
• Unrestricted Australian Drivers Licence 
• Medium rigid Licence (grounds applicant ONLY)
• Chain saw ticket or willingness to obtain (grounds applicant ONLY)
• ChemCert ticket or willingness to obtain (grounds applicant ONLY)
• The ability to work productively & independently.
• Excellent guest experience & strong communication skills.
• Ability to manage time & meet priorities.
• A positive attitude & willingness to learn.
• Great teamwork skills.
• A 'can-do', solutions-focused attitude.
• The physical ability to do manual work in all conditions.
  
• Flexible availability to work including weekend, peak holiday seasons & public holiday work.
