Content Creator

Reflections Holidays | Full time | Wickham, NSW | Circa $80,000

Reflections Holidays is looking for an in-house social content creator based at Reflections Base Camp in Newcastle, who will travel across our beautiful holiday parks and nature reserves throughout NSW to capture and develop social-ready content that celebrates the outdoors.

Reporting to our Creative Director, you’ll be planning, developing and shooting fresh, engaging content that shows why Life’s Better Outside. This is a full-time creative role with plenty of variety, genuine ownership, amazing perks and some of NSW’s best locations as your backdrop. Travel is a prominent and awesome part of this role.

What you’ll be doing

• Working closely with the Creative Director and broader Team at Base Camp to develop creative, social-savvy content ideas that support our marketing goals
• Planning, capturing, editing and scheduling content across our social media channels—including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and YouTube—as well as our internal communications channels
• Independently managing your production schedule, deadlines and travel
• Staying across and reporting on emerging social trends, formats and platform behaviours
• Engaging with guests and staff to uncover authentic and entertaining stories
• Working strategically to our specific target audiences
• Forever hunting for new and creative ways to show that Life’s Better Outside
  

About you

You’re a lover of the outdoors, but you’re equally excited about exploring your feeds for the next great content angle. Reflections’ friendly, witty and down-to-earth tone of voice connects with you, and you’re more than ready to bring that character to the work.

You love working out what stops people from scrolling, and you’re motivated and excited to put your ideas into action. Most importantly, the idea of travelling and exploring as a key part of your job excites you.

You’ll bring:

• Good time-management skills and the confidence to work independently

While the role will often involve creating engaging content with nothing but an iPhone and a sharp idea, experience using industry tools such as Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects and a Sony A7 III - or similar equipment - would be an advantage.
