Communications Manager
As Communication Manager, you will shape how Reflections Holidays tells its story and engages with employees, communities, and key stakeholders. Reporting to the Executive Manager - Government & Corporate Communication, you will lead internal, change, leadership and external communication, partnering closely with the Executive and senior leaders to translate strategy into communication that builds clarity, trust and engagement. This role suits a strategic communicator who enjoys working across internal and external audiences, strengthening employee connection while supporting trusted relationships with government, industry, and local communities.

The Duties
A typical day in this role, you may find yourself:
- Partnering with Executive and senior leaders to plan and deliver internal, leadership and external communication aligned to organisational priorities.
- Advising leaders and operational teams on communication and stakeholder engagement for change initiatives, projects and emerging issues.
- Leading internal communication and engagement that supports frontline teams across a geographically dispersed workforce.
- Shaping communication and engagement with government, tourism and community stakeholders to support strong relationships and organisational reputation.
- Overseeing internal communication channels and digital platforms, using insights to improve reach, relevance and effectiveness.
- Balancing planned communication with emerging issues in a dynamic, operational environment.
About You
You’re a strategic communication professional who enjoys working at both a big-picture and practical level. You’re confident partnering with senior leaders, comfortable navigating complexity and change, and able to provide clear, considered advice in fast-moving operational environments.
You bring a strong understanding of internal and external communication, with experience engaging diverse audiences including frontline teams, government, industry and community stakeholders. You’re organised, adaptable and calm under pressure, with the judgement to prioritise effectively and the curiosity to continually improve how communication supports people, performance and reputation.
What we’re looking for?
To be considered for this role, you will need to:
- Demonstrate 5-7 years’ experience in a senior communication or communication management role, ideally within a complex, operational or multi-site organisation, with the ability to build strong, productive relationships across the business.
- Demonstrated ability to lead strategic internal and external communication, translating organisational priorities into clear, engaging messaging and proactively driving communication outcomes.
- Confidence working with executives and senior leaders as a trusted advisor, building credibility and shaping leadership communication.
- Strong stakeholder engagement capability, with experience developing and maintaining effective relationships with government, industry and community stakeholders to support positive outcomes.
- Experience supporting communication through change, managing competing priorities and proactively addressing issues in fast-paced environments.
- Strong digital capability, with the ability to leverage technology, data and analytics to inform communication strategy, measure effectiveness and continuously improve outcomes.
- A collaborative, pragmatic approach and sound judgement, with the ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery.
