As Assistant Park Manager, you’ll work closely with the Park Manager to support the day-to-day operation of the park, lead the team and help create memorable experiences for our guests. The Duties

This Assistant Park Manager role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating great guest experiences and keeping the day-to-day operations of a busy holiday park running smoothly. With a strong focus on reception and administration, you’ll support guest bookings and enquiries, coordinate daily priorities and help lead the reception and housekeeping teams to deliver welcoming and efficient service.

Working closely with the Park Manager and broader park team, you’ll play an important role in maintaining high operational standards and contributing to the overall success of the park. If you’re organised, confident with systems, enjoy supporting a team and genuinely love helping guests, Urunga could be the perfect next step in your career.

A typical day in the role, you may find yourself:

  • Being a part of the operational excellence through staff training, creating a positive culture for staff & providing great customer service.
  • Supervise all park employees and oversee daily work where required.
  • Assisting the Park Manager with park financials.
  • Conducting routine park inspections including daily walk around and monthly audits as prescribed
  • Following WHS guidelines & procedures

What are we looking for?

To be considered for this role, you will need to:

  • Demonstrate previous experience in a supervisory/management role, or senior administrative role.
  • Demonstrate previous experience working in Hospitality & Tourism, preferably in Guest Services, Housekeeping or Grounds Maintenance.
  • Knowledge of WHS issues and safe work practices
  • Current Driver Licence
