The Role

This is a full-time Assistant Park Manager position located at Reflections Holiday Park Nambucca Heads.

As Assistant Park Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the operational and day-to-day management of the Nambucca Heads Holiday Park. The position has a high degree of autonomy and responsibility.

You will be working to a roster that includes weekends, public holidays, peak holiday seasons, and on-call duties.

Your key responsibilities will also include:

  • Financial - Driving Park performance, managing expenses in line with budget & strategic plans, identifying commercial opportunities to increase park revenue, financial approvals as per delegated authority and providing financial analysis.
  • People Management - recruit, train, manage performance and appraisal of park employees and managing customer expectations
  • Administration - Managing a site office, employee Time & Attendance systems, Bookings and attending to after hours issues as they arise
  • Work, Health & Safety - responsibility for safety within the park premises and lands, undertaking inspections, ensuring staff, contractors work according to policies & procedures, reporting hazards and incidents and assisting in injury management processes
  • Leading - excellence in customer service and delivery of financial performance and control, in line with Reflections Values

About your experience

To be successful in this role you will have a sound knowledge of business strategy, financial reporting & forecasting.  You will be entrepreneurial, self-starting, and thrive within a challenging environment where no two days are the same. You will have ability to influence and engage with individuals across all levels, and be an active and calm, trouble-shooter. 

You will also have

  • Effective leadership skills, and ability to positively influence stakeholders
  • Experience at a senior management level, and of similar scope to this role
  • Tertiary qualifications in Hospitality, Business/Commerce, Marketing or relevant, equivalent experience
  • Experience in property/asset management, Work Health & Safety management, managing budgets and business plans
  • Customer Service orientation, with knowledge of Tourism/Hospitality industries
  • Highly developed numeracy and communication skills
  • Current/valid Drivers Licence
  • A high level of proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite
